A member of our Editing Team will conduct an extremely valuable editorial assessment of your manuscript. Your editor will read through the entire manuscript and provide thoughtful, in-depth feedback concerning elements such as spelling, grammar, plot, characterization, structure, consistency and style.
On (select date), you will receive an email w/ up to 500 corrections on your manuscript. The total number of corrections made on your manuscript may or may not reach 500, depending on how many errors were found.

Front Cover
1st Option - I Have an Image
Sounds great. Please send us your image, and give us an idea of text placement on your book cover, i.e. which fonts to use and where on your book cover do you want your book title and author name added.
2nd Option - I need an Illustrator
Awesome. You will need to send us a written description and an image sample of what you want your book cover to look like.
Back Cover
Adding another image to the back cover is completely optional. Authors generally add a background color that matches the style of their front cover, and the book description is placed on top.
Spine
Customizing your book spine is quick and easy. Here are 2 things to consider:

Protection
Copyright, a form of intellectual property law, protects original works of authorship including literary, dramatic, musical, and artistic works, such as poetry, novels, movies, songs, computer software, and architecture.
During this stage, Alpha Book Publisher will create a copyright filing for the author's manuscript via the copyright.gov.

Return
Program
Certificate
The ability to return unsold print books is a standard publishing business practice that has remained since the Great Depression. Since that time, brick-and-mortar booksellers have been able to mitigate their own financial risk by relying on publishers to credit returned books. Often, booksellers will hesitate to order and stock books when they aren’t “Returnable.” This means if getting your title stocked on bookstore shelves is part of your marketing plan, Booksellers Return Program is an essential element to earning shelf space and/or in-store book signings.
One major benefit of this service is you will not be charged back for royalties earned on the sales to the store if your books are returned. Losses are on us!

Local Media Outlets Outreach
Alpha Book Publisher will reach out to the top 5 local media outlets nearest your zip code; and determine which media outlet is the best to air your television commercial advertisement with.
Determining factors include but are not limited to: budget, available channels and viewership.
Author is notified of which local media outlets Alpha Book Publisher has best recommended;
and we will work with the designated marketing manager of the selected local media outlet to bring forth the most cost effective ad campaign.
