So many lives are turned upside down each year through divorce or parents walking away from their children. I wrote this book because I spent many of my days as a child, teenager, and even as a man trying to figure out what when wrong. Now God has revealed to me through His word just how important it is for us to know and understand where and
whom we comes from.
This book is cutting to the core of many issues that we face as we navigate through life without hearing the voice of the man we call “dad.” I wanted to take you into a deeper understanding about searching and finding the answers into knowing who you are, no matter if you are a man, woman, or a teenager. This book will allow you to see the tears and feel the pain of my life and quite possibly yours as well. About the Author
I am a Louisiana native, born in the historic city of New Orleans. I am the son of Joseph T. Baker Sr. and Jeneta Williams. I am a proud father of four beautiful children, and the husband of the most loving women a man could ever ask for, Cynthia Ann Cunigan Baker. We have been married for 30 years and we truly enjoy our lives together. I can truly say that my wife is my best friend. Jerica, Courtney, Anthony, and Makayla are our blessing from God. We also have 4 beautiful grandchildren.
I am a veteran of the U.S. Army, and I am currently a Texas educator. I have been in education for nearly 20
years and I love my job. I spent 18 years coaching high school sports because, I love working with our young people. I am also the Pastor of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church located in Palestine TX. I have been walking in my calling now for over 15 years. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in education
administration at Liberty University. I have realized this about my life and that is, I know that I would be nothing without trusting God, and He is the source of my strength.
