Flirting with Destiny
This timely collection of articles, essays and speeches, some of which first
appeared in the Trinidad and Tobago Guardian, offers fresh and interesting perspectives on the issues and ideas facing the author during his public life. The collection is sandwiched between a brief autobiographical introduction, and an epilogue which offers his perspective on the sequence of events that led to his exclusion from the slate of candidates presented by the People's National Movement for Trinidad and Tobago's General Election in May 2010.
"In Flirting with Destiny, Taylor embarks on a journey of self-discovery exploring ancestral roots and celebrating a rich family heritage. The enlightening essays cover a broad spectrum of contemporary issues and harbour the skills of a consummate writer.''
