Getting Started
Flashlight Press publishes fictional children’s picture books targeting 4-8 year olds. Their books focus on social and family situations. They accept submissions in any genre, as long as it is written and illustrated for children. They prefer books that are between 500-1,000 words in length. To submit to Flashlight Press, you will need to email a query letter that includes your full manuscript. You will then receive a reply within a month.
In addition to the usual methods for turning on the flashlight, you can also use Android 13’s Quick Settings tile or say “Flashlight” with Google Assistant. The latter method is especially useful when you are in a dark place and want to quickly turn on your phone’s flashlight.
