The Legion of Super-Heroes is a team of superheroes appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. The team was created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino and first appeared in Adventure Comics #247 in 1958. The team is from the 30th and 31th century, and the initial team consisted of Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and Lightning Lad. Over the years, the team has gone through several changes, including the addition and departure of various members, and changes to the team's overall concept and direction. The Legion of Super-Heroes has also been featured in several different media, including television shows, animated series, and live-action films.
